Excessive Foot Sweating

There can be many causes of excessive foot sweating for the people who have this condition, and it is hard to pinpoint the exact cause for each person. It could be caused by an overactive nervous system, or it could be due to the over-activity of the sweat glands themselves. Another common cause of foot sweating is heredity. It is very common to see family members with similar severity of the foot sweating condition.

The obvious symptom of excessive foot sweating is the sweating of the soles of the feet. Many other reasons can include stress and anxiety, or even during intimate moments. For people who suffer from severe foot sweating though, the condition can also occur with no real reason at all.

Excessive foot sweating exists in many different degrees. For people who suffer from mild foot sweating, it is only a little annoying to them, but they do not consider it to be a big problem.
More severe forms of foot sweating can lead to other diseases. For example, excessive sweating of the feet can cause athelete’s foot, bacterial infections, fungal toenails or other skin problems.
